Vietnamese title: Phân tử Phytochelatins và vai trò của chúng đối với khả năng tích lũy kim loại nặng của loài cỏ lá dừa – Enhalus acoroides.

English title: Phytochelatins and its role in heavy metal accumulation capacity of Enhalus acoroides.

My study focus on determine Phytochelatins’s role in heavy metal accumulation capacity of Enhalus acoroides. Enhalus acoroides samples collected at six distinct seagrass beds from the coast of Khanh Hoa province (Tuan Le, My Giang, Song Lo, Thuy Trieu, Cam Phuc Nam and Cam Thinh) were evaluated for their PC₂. The results showed that strong correlation between PC₂ and Pb concentration were found in the root organ collected from a Pb contaminated area. We conclude that Phytochelatins play a main function in heavy metal detoxification.
