Research

My first thesis focuses on investigate the population genetic of Conus textile Linaeus, 1758 and phylogenetic relationship of Cone snail (Conus spp.) in the Coastal Central Southern Vietnam. We used these data to reconstruct the phylogenetic relationships and examined the resultant tree to interpret the population genetic of Conus textile and phylogenetic relationship of Cone Snail.

My second thesis focus on the artificial reproduction test for Vasticadion flavum Linaeus, 1758 at Cam Ranh –Khanh Hoa Province. This is the first test about artificial reproduction of this species in Vietnam. The experiment used thermal shock combined with gender method. The results showed that the percentage of fertilized eggs is quite high and eggs hatched into larvae within 12 – 24 hours but percentage of larvae is still low.
