WORKING WITH AUBURN UNIVERSITY, USA

From September 25 to October 1, 1818, the parasite group of Professor Ash Bullard and students from Auburn University, USA, visited and worked with the Research Team of Biodiversity and Conservation, Institute of Biotechnology and Environment.

Cooperation between the two groups has been established since 2015. Up to now, two groups have jointly published four international papers in the specialized journals on parasites and aquatic diseases. 

During this trip, the teams conducted a number of collaborative activities such as (i) surveying the status and life cycle of blood worm in cobia rearing in Van Ninh; (ii) parasite  survey on some marine fish species including rays, eels ...; (iii) Discuss and seek opportunities to expand cooperation through international projects.

In the process of research, teachers and students from the two groups came together to collect samples, exchange technology, and jointly publish research results in the near future. This is an opportunity for the research teams to improve international research and publication skills.
