On 03/25/2015, Biotechnology and Environment Institute and the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Nha Trang has worked with GS. Don Jackson of the University of Mississippi, USA.

Join the meeting with the leaders and key staff of the Institute of Biotechnology and Environment, members of the team on Aquatic resources management of the Institute of Aquaculture. Representative 2 Institute introduced the Institute and presents the main research directions. Prof. Don Jackson presented the research on fisheries resources and the lake, and some research on aquatic resource recovery after disasters. Then, a representative of two research institutes have exchanged information and cooperate with GS. Don Jackson include faculty and student exchange, and research collaboration. In the work program, Prof. Don Jackson also had a presentation at the international conference organized by Department of External Affair, and visited the MPA Ran Trao.

Nha Trang University and Mississippi State University has signed MOU to cooperate on training and scientific research. The meeting is the basis for building cooperation in the future between the two Universities.
