Other positions/involvements: He is the Multiple Editorship and Associate Editorships, committee appointments, manuscript reviews (7 journals), and University service appointments, serves as Immediate Past- President of the Mississippi Chapter of the American Fisheries Society. He also serves as External Program Reviewer for Delaware State University’s Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources (2012) Research & Teaching: His research at MSU focuses on Fisheries Management, Pond Management Aquatic Vegetation, Tropical Fisheries Ecology, Fish Bioenergetics, andAngler Recruitment. He designed and instructed 11 different undergraduate and graduate-level courses, including Fisheries Science, Stream Ecology, Small Impoundment Management, Environmental Science, and Conservation of Natural Resources. Presented more than 140 workshops via Extension at all education and age levels, including multiple seminars on Natural Resource Enterprises. His research has been published in 2 books, 4 book chapters and several national and international peer-reviewed journals (comprising 30 publications, including 9 since 2012 to now). |
